Today we’re in Concord, Massachusetts, where we’re going to remove this 20 year old failed Mitsubishi, Mr. Slim, R22 unit that was infested with mice and they’ve chewed up all the wiring, making it inoperable. Our client here is going to have us replace the system. It’s a single zone unit. It goes up to the master bedroom and it serves their air conditioning. So today we’re going to remove this old unit and install a new GREE Sapphire, which is their 38 SEER, the highest electrically efficient unit they make. So this should be fun. Going to get the R22 refrigerant out of this system. We’re going to recover it to EPA standards so we don’t release any into the ozone layer and then Michael “Pipes” DiBacco and I will get this unit swapped out and we’ll check back in with you later when we’re done.

Just wanted to show you the completed upgrade to this system where removed the old Mitsubishi R22 single zone cooling unit off that pad. We wall mounted this new high efficiency Sapphire Gree unit, which is 38 SEER Rated. So it’s the highest efficient unit Gree makes. All new line set, we ran it up the old slim duct enclosure that came off nice and neat. So we were able to reuse it. So it’s a color match to the house paint. Everything is tied in and functioning, I’ll show you the inside. Hold on…
