Installation of a new Navien NPE-240A2 natural gas 95% high efficient tankless water heater installation in Chelmsford Massachusetts. Our client had a failed 45 gallon indirect fired tank that was 14 year old and had its heating coil spring a leak and it was back feeding street pressure domestic water backward into the heating boiler and causing the relief valve on the boiler to let go and get water all over the basement. My son Mike & I mounted the new Navien tankless on the cement wall so that we can vent it right out through the sill. Then we ran a new 3/4” steel gas line across to feed the new Navien. New 3/4” PEX water lines from the location of the old failed tank to the new Navien tankless. We set all the temperatures in the shower & tub valves to proper temperature.
