I’ve just arrived at my first service Call and i’ll be doing a heating checkup On a forest hot air system now when we Do a heating checkup like this there’s a Few things that we do we need to first Make sure that the air filter is good And that the system has proper air flow And we need to verify that the Condensate pump is functioning properly To test the pump we typically get a Small bucket fill it with water And pour the water into the pump Until the float inside lifts up Tells the pump to kick on And then discharges the condensation now That i verified that the pump is Functioning properly I’ll shut the power off here And pull out the air filter This client has a Electronic Air filter Which i will go outside and rinse off With the hose All right Now that i’ve verified that the Condensate pump is working and i’ve Cleaned the Air filter I can use my testo Combustion analyzer To test for carbon monoxide The unit has now been firing for about
